Callaloo Update

In October, I began a set of new crops; the cucumbers, callaloo, pakchoi and okra. These proved quite a surprise because they threatened to overrun their containers and my sun room, in time. Ultimately, I found them a cool spot in my Jamaican Urban Organic Garden to chill and grow a their leisure.

The Callaloo plants have proven resilient. I was able to put them in a spot that receives half and half sun and shade. Seeing as it is one of the few vegetables I eat, I am looking forward to it flourishing.

I also managed to transplant about 20 plants and pray that the garden pests do them no damage.
